Kylee Jo Sommer
Kylee Jo Sommer is 9 years old and hails from Oak Grove Missouri. She
Will be attending 4th grade at Matthews Elementary.
Kylee Jo has been riding the rodeo circuit since she was 5 years old, but a horse
Lover since before she could walk. Kylee Jo is the proud owner of 6 head of horses: Smash Baby, Poco Bucks a Cindy, Lethal Dose a Zan Par, Higher Dose of Power, Blue & Dusty. With the other 2 head, totaling 8, Kylee Jo takes on the feeding Responsibility morning and night. With the addition of Smash Baby, we entered Into the Higher Performance League of rodeo. Jana Barcus helped us with a nutritional program for Smash. After quickly seeing the results, we have moved all our horses to Purina. Seven head use Strategy and one uses Ultium. With a top dressing of Prime Lyte , Amplify and/or Free Balance (all depending on the horse), we have noticed a tremendous difference in the overall coat condition, weight gain, and performance of the horses. Kylee Jo knows what an
important part feeding plays with the maintenance of her horses. She learned this
from an early age. She was a member of the Missouri Kansas Youth Rodeo Association in 2004. A member of the Christian Youth Rodeo Association 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. A member of the Oak Grove Youth Rodeo Association 2006, 2007. A member of MBRA 2007.
Kylee Jo began her rodeo career in Mutton Bustin, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending in 2004. Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and Goat Tying are her current events in the Pee Wee Division. As a Junior, this next year, she will be adding Breakaway Roping.
Kylee Jo has finished in the top 10 in each event since 2004 and has received awards from:

She has competed by invitation, at the Abdullah Shrine Rodeo and received a Buckle in 2005 as well as the American Royal Youth Invitational Rodeo in 2006.
Kylee Jo reigned as the Christian Youth Rodeo Association Little Miss in 2006 and
Represented the Association at the American Royal, Abdallah Shrine Rodeo and other
Numerous appearances. She is a straight A student and received the Citizenship Award in 2nd & 3rd Grade along with volunteer work for Harvesters and Toys for Tots.
Kylee Jo will be a great Purina Ambassador. Promoting product and first hand experience with the nutritional programs that work. Whether it’s a rodeo, jackpot, or Promotional event, she shares her knowledge along the trail.
