Cooper Belt

Cooper Belt is the son of Ray and Leslie Belt of Osawatomie, Kansas. He is a 6th grader at Blue Valley Middle School in Overland Park, B. Cooper has been riding horses all of his life and has been rodeoing since he was 6. Cooper has competed in Calf riding, Barrels, Poles, Breakaway Roping, Steer Riding, Ribbon Roping, and Goat Tying. Cooper is currently the Youth President of the Kansas Junior Rodeo Association and is also a member of the Christian Youth Rodeo Association. He has won many titles of Championships and buckles throughout the years but his biggest success was winning the All Around Championship in 2005 in the Christian Youth Rodeo Association. Cooper has talked about becoming a Purina Ride with the Brand Ambassador like Tyler Magnus, Kerry Kuhn, and Curt Pate. He has taken pointers from all of these top hands.

Cooper understands the importance of keeping a horse in condition. Purina Feeds are a key factor to the success of performance of the horse. Cooper top competition horse is an 11 year old Dun Quarter Horse Stallion named Easter Sun aka (Turtle). Turtle is a great all around horse strong contender in Barrels, Poles, Breakaway, Ribbon Roping, Goat Tying, Heading and Heeling.
Turtle does his best on Purina Strategy feed. With lots of miles traveling on the youth rodeo circuit and Cooper’s dad (Ray) on Turtle in the United Rodeo Association, Turtle needs all the required nutrients to stay healthy.
Coopers back up horse is a 27 year old Quarter Gelding named Ace. He is feed Purina Senior feed. Last year Ace was hauled from Osawatomie to Plainville rodeoed for 2 days and then jumped on the trailer Sunday afternoon and traveled back to Paola to another rodeo Sunday evening, where Cooper won second place in Breakaway Sunday evening. With a horse at 27 we count on Purina Senior feed to keep Ace rodeo ready.
