Billy Lane Barcus

Billy Lane Barcus is proud to be with the Purina Youth Ambassador Team. He loves to help everyone at all the super learning events that are provided for all to attend and to be a part of bettering his and others horse knowledge. He thanks Ernie Rodina & Purina Mills for this great opportunity. He is a 9 year old cowboy that lives with his parents Bill & Jana Barcus in Paola, Kansas. Billy does a great job in school, excelling in Math, Reading, and Computer. He also gets the opportunity to help others in his class.

Billy Lane has rode horses all his life and started competing in barrel racing and Mutton Busting at the age of 5. He has held membership & competed in several associations including Christian Youth Rodeo Association, Kansas Junior Rodeo Association, NBHA District 11, Better Barrel Races, Midwest Barrel Racing Association, Double B Productions, Heartland Barrel Racing Tours, & Lucky J Arena Barrel Races. He has also had the opportunity to compete at the American Royal Border Wars Youth Rodeo, American Royal Youth Invitational Rodeo's, & at the American Royal PRCA rodeo-in the Mutton Busting event. He is also an Ambassador for the American Royal Youth Invitational Rodeo's. Billy Lane says "The best part of rodeo is seeing all my friends & getting to compete in my events".

Billy received the HULK Award for his class (Helping, Understanding, Loving and

Kindness).
